Sandra Bird Aldridge is a faith-driven, ordained minister, author, speaker, and
creative dedicated to helping others experience God’s grace and redemption across
the U.S. and abroad, including in prisons. In 2014, Sandi married Timothy
Aldridge — her soulmate and forever husband. Alongside serving in their local
church, she and Tim run a prison correspondence ministry, staying connected with
incarcerated men who need to know that somebody on the outside is still praying
for them.
Her life is living proof of the message she carries. Born the survivor of a
failed abortion and raised moving between relatives, she came to faith at sixteen
and has been saying yes to God’s assignments ever since. Over more than forty
years of ministry she has served as a church nurse, disaster responder, rescue
mission preacher, nursing home minister, medical and evangelical missionary to
Uganda, and Franklin Graham Crusade counselor.
Sandi is the author of The Kingdom Wife Blueprint and The Amateur Prepper’s
Pocket Guide to Creating an Emergency Plan, with Why Leave the Vengeance Up to
God? on the way. She, Tim, and their cats, chickens, and turkeys make their home
in Tennessee.
